THANK YOU!
Invest in our Shared Ecosystem and Help Us Host You all Again!
This time of year, we need to finalize big repair projects and necessary facility purchases, prep the land for fire season, tend landscaping and the garden, and plan summer reservations and weddings. (See Details on each category of support).
We still need to do all of this, but have had no income since early March; All but 1 of our group reservations through mid-June has cancelled for 2020, and all March and April individual/family reservations postponed.
What would you Love to Invest in?
Gift us $100 for 2 months or $200 and we will share a jar of homemade salsa with you. Lilia and Laurie invested our time in a "salsa garden" last week!
We will ecstatically receive CC contributions (just click below) or your Checks at:
River’s Bend Retreat Center/PO Box 202/Philo, Ca 95466
Our intention is to be completely transparent with our financial needs and resources. Our total expenses through May: $85-100,000). We applied for a PPP loan of $45,000 so far (that's the amount we are eligible for that can cover payroll and utilities for 8 weeks), and a $10,000 Disaster Loan, which will be folded into that $45,000 PPP Loan if it is granted. We have tried to estimate our Supply and Operational Expenses separately from those Payroll costs that might be covered by loans. Estimated time to receive communication about Loans: 2-3 weeks. We will update as we get information.

Wisdom for Economic Ecosystems . . . .
Rains that fell far up the watershed, and months ago, nourish the Navarro River through underground Aquifers and Springs, even when it is barely flowing. We know many of you are struggling; others feel resourced enough.
We ask those of you who can, to be like springs for us, part of our aquifer, so we can share back the gift of water with the many social benefit organizations, non-profits, and you.
What's Real: We lost all of our previously booked 2020 income. We pivoted to provide space for individuals and families and recouped 50% of 2020 our income.
What Is Possible: With your support and our best ideas (so far), you can help us recover income. Help our "flow" so we can be resilient and continue to share this land and water Sanctuary, as we gratefully do.

This Ecosystem here is brimming with Creative, Emergent systems for receiving and giving:
What is being revealed?
How do we grow wide root systems of trust and relationship like the Redwoods?
Deep root systems for strength like the Oaks?
The Navarro River runs through the Anderson Valley's majestic redwoods, sunny meadows and vineyards and then curves at River's Bend to create a still point for contemplation, ecological understanding and deep connection between land and people.
