DREAMS AND TRANSITIONS (Revised) May 5 & 6 at River’s Bend Retreat Center
Sponsored by the Pacific Center for Spiritual Formation and River’s Bend
Call it a gathering of dreamers – those who have an interest in the world of dreams and what these night messengers might mean for our lives.
We will gather at River’s Bend on Saturday May 5 for an 11:00 Brunch, get acquainted and begin conversations about our dream life and any recent dreams which feel important to the dreamer. (Free lodging is available to those who want to arrive Friday night)
This event is Brunch to Brunch (Saturday to Sunday), designed as a one-day event to help us become more aware of the influence of dreams and their potential force for guidance. Meetings will be guided by Carol Saysette and Todd Evans. Each has over 30 years experience in dream work and a background in Jungian psychology.
A particular focus will be on how dreams influence us during periods of transition. We welcome persons with long-time experience with dreams as well as the relatively uninitiated. Methods for nurturing our dream life will be discussed as well.
There will be ample time to enjoy the beautiful grounds of River’s Bend, relax before a fire, hike and enjoy home-cooked meals. River’s Bend offers this at the bargain price of $90, with a free night thrown in, if you arrive on Friday. Please register by April 25.
This workshop will explore our dream life and how dreams influence us during periods of transition. Whether age-related, facing vocational change, relationship issues or just experiencing the shifting sands of life, dreams can provide insight and guidance into the direction and nature of change. In small group and plenary gatherings we will share relevant dreams, current and past, over two days and be introduced to the power of dreams for personal insight. This workshop is for occasional and frequent dreamers.
